Brussels, 07-05-2025 – The Belgian Digital Infrastructure Association (BDIA) publishes the latest edition of the Belgian Digital Infrastructure Guide 2025. In the annual guide, partners of our association present their organization and their products/services.
The Belgian digital infrastructure market has the potential to grow into an important and strategic hub in Europe. For example, the market study State of the Belgian Data Centers (SOBD, 2024) shows that over €1.4 billion will be invested in colocation data centers until 2029. In addition, over 261 MW of IT Power is expected to be generated by colocation data centers in 2029. In 2025, it will be 146 MW.
In addition, it is also important to mention that Belgium has, compared to neighboring countries the Netherlands and Germany, been less affected by grid congestion which means that power capacity is still available. Therefore, Brussels – also because of its strategic location within the FLAP market – becomes interesting for investors and data center operators to explore opportunities within this promising hub.
The goal of the annual Belgian Digital Infrastructure Guide is to give everyone a clear overview of the scale of the Belgian digital infrastructure sector and our partners contribute to the sustainable growth of our industry.
