Waregem, February 27, 2026 – Cebeo, a Sonepar company, is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement to acquire the activities of Aleco as of May 1st, 2026.
Aleco is a local wholesale distributor of electrical equipment, cable, lighting, HVAC, and renewable energy solutions. Founded in 1997 by Geert Tournoy and Francis Van Den Driessche, the company has built a strong reputation over the past three decades with its headquarters in Zedelgem and a second branch in Roeselare, serving a broad customer base in the northern and central regions of West Flanders.
In 2025, Aleco registered annual revenue of over 8 million euros. The activity of Aleco will be fully integrated within the operations of Cebeo. Aleco’s employees will continue to apply their expertise in service of customers. Through this integration, Cebeo strengthens its proximity model for customers and local installers in West Flanders.
