For a major data centre project in Germany, we are currently working on the delivery, installation and commissioning of a large number of containerised gensets. The first unit was recently approved by the customer via the Factory Witness Test (FWT) at our site. During this test phase, it was confirmed in the customer’s presence that the installation meets all technical and operational requirements.
The sets are powered by Rehlko KD3500-E generator sets and are equipped with, amongst other things:
• Switchboard with 5000-amp circuit breakers
• Grid-compliant control system
• Water mist-based fire detection and suppression system
• SCR after-treatment system in accordance with the latest environmental requirements
• Dry cooler with variable-speed fans
• 30,000-litre belly tank with double-walled filling pipe
• Noise level <75 dB(A) at a distance of 1 metre
In the next phase, the remaining units will be further constructed and prepared for delivery and on-site installation.
