EuNetworks adds fiber network in Brussels

EuNetworks announced that the company has added a new fiber network in Brussels, Belgium. This network is designed to meet the growing demand for connectivity in the region and will play an important role in supporting Brussels’ digital infrastructure as the capital of the European Union.

The new fiber network in Brussels is designed with high density to meet the needs of businesses that are increasingly dependent on fast and reliable connectivity. With the growing demand for data-intensive applications, such as cloud computing, video conferencing and the Internet of Things (IoT), this network aims to play a role in supporting the digital transformation of businesses in the region.

“Belgium is a growing digital hub, with significant investments in the region to support emerging technology trends such as IoT and GenAI, driving cloud adoption and strategies,” said Paula Cogan, Chief Executive Officer of euNetworks. “Our investments in Brussels and broader Belgium reinforce our leadership position in European critical infrastructure as we address the continued densification of the high bandwidth demand region of FLAP (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam and Paris). We remain focused on delivering a distinctive proposition to the market, offering unique and scalable network routes to our customers between key data centers. We also have a strong pipeline of ongoing investments to further support their growing bandwidth needs, building on the investment we made last year. I am very proud of what the team has accomplished in a relatively short time, bringing our eighteenth metro network to market. We have also expanded our local operations and sales presence, providing strong support to our customers locally as they move forward with their infrastructure investments.”
